Filterstorm Neue

Hi,

I ve just bought filter storm neue. In make square tool background is now black?? Can you please white option. I can not use neue instead of filter storm classic.

Missing tools..

Hey, filterstorm is cooler than the classic one. It is faster when exporting projects but i did not find tools for adjusting levels and adding text or watermarks. I hope these will apear on the next updates.

Levels, whitebalance, and adding text are missing. It will be better if it will retain all the tools from the classic one.

Super Programm, doch ich vermisse die Möglichkeit einen Stempel für die IPTC anzulegen. Vielleicht mit dem nächsten Update.

Great app

The new Neue is so well designed. I especially love the brush, although it would be better if the size of the brush could be easily changed on the fly. I am also waiting for proper layers. If it stayed as is, i would still use it regularly because of how much i enjoy the interface. Great job!!!!

The text tool is a part of the v1.1 update, the border tool is still not implemented

I like the new clear user interface and the way the program responses to user actions. I’m sadly missing the layer funtionality though. Please put this on your urgent update requirement list. Thank you.

Firestorm & Firestorm Neue

I bought both apps thinking that they where two different apps offering widely different apps. They where the same price so I took for granted that I would get more features. Not the case. If Firestorm Neue is just an upgrade than why do you still sell the old Firestorm seprately? I feel ripped off. I have requested a refund to no avail. What a crime!

I’m sorry you didn’t have luck getting a refund from Apple, but I can’t provide refunds through the app store, only Apple can do that.

In my defense, the description for Filterstorm BEGINS “NOTE: It is highly recommended people purchase Filterstorm Neue rather than Filterstorm. Future development has moved to Filterstorm Neue.”

The old filterstorm is left on the app store for people who need some of the few features that are still not available on Filterstorm Neue.

I use my original Fstorm for the missing features in Neue because I read the caveat re: deleted features, but Tai, if the 1st version is no longer supported, when future iOS changes possibly render it dysfunctional, will we lose the features we still love, will you be adding them the the latest iteration of your wonderful app? It seems odd to eliminate them by that point from the arsenal you have created. Is this an impossible/improbable request? Thanks, GB

Apple is good about refunds, BUT…

…as Neue is a separate program (Thank you, Tai), it’s unlikely Apple can work with anyone who did not buy them together or within a very short time.

Those among us who had full use of the original version and had no complaints immediately have gotten a solid great product that continues to supplement Neue, ja?

Adding Neue is better than replacing via update, so I feel I am supporting a very talented programmer!

Should Apple release an update to iOS that makes classic Filterstorm unusable before all features have been implemented in Filterstorm Neue, then I’ll probably go ahead and make the necessary updates to classic filterstorm to keep it working. I don’t plan for that to happen, though. The 1.3 update by itself should take care of almost all the remaining differences.

Iptc fields

Hi in Neue 1.2.4 the IPTC fields composed with other software do not show. Nor IPTC COMPOSED WITH Neue show in any other photo software (photomechanic, photoshop, etc..)

Also, you should add a picture browser that would allow to choose the pictures to edit from larger thumbnails.

Also need multiple file FTP at the same time.

The 2 Apps - to the developer

You consider Neue like an update to the original but the interface is so different that I see it as 2 totally separate apps besides the fact that Neue has no layers. I think you deserve the money for both for the amazing apps that you have created. These complaints about rip offs is absurd. Those People should be crying about all the rip off 99 cent apps that are terrible or exactly the same as others. Neue is a classic. Nothing out there rivals it for what it does. Thank you for that. I would like to have the ability to have more control over brush size and layers. But even exactly as it is, I have no complaints because of how useful it is and how brilliant the interface is. Thank you so much for creating such a masterpiece.

Filterstorm Neue

Please add to ftp export option the “folder” field like in the old filestorm and possibility to type space in name of the folder. Will be nice to see multiple select, load and export photos. Also IPTC sets are not clear and simple like in the old version.
